One of the purposes of Christian Writers Fellowship International is to facilitate writers in "Connecting" with one another on a local level by recommending local writers groups. We  especially like to hear from group leaders outside North America. We want to help you build peer support and fellowship on a local level. We hope to do this in two ways.

If you are a writers group leader, here's how we can help you:
  • We often have writers contact us to find a local writers group. We can supply them with your contact information. 
  • We can also give your group free publicity in Cross & Quill, our organizational newsletter. This will help you grow in numbers, in exposure, and in ministry.
  • If you're interested in starting a group, we can supply how-to materials on organizing and operating a group. We can also supply you with a list of potential members for your group from our database.
  • We often hear from writers in Canada and countries outside the United States. If you operate a local writers group -- or you know about one -- please contact us. We have writers waiting to connect with you now.
  • Visit our Books Direct Page for resources on successfully organizing and operating your own writers group.

 If you are a writer looking for a local group to attend, here's how we can help you:
  • We can send you a list of local groups from our database.
  • We can send your contact information to leaders of local writers groups so that they can contact you—whichever you prefer.
  • If you are a writer living outside the United States, we are working to find local writers group for you. Please contact us. We may be able to help.
